How To Make Cucumber Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Large cucumbers thinly sliced
  • 1/2 red onion sliced (optional but adds punch)
  • 3/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill or 1 tsp dried
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: a pinch of sugar for balance

Method
 

  1. Pat cucumber slices dry with a paper towel to reduce excess moisture.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together sour cream, vinegar, dill, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fold in cucumbers (and onions if using). Toss until well coated.
  4. Chill in the fridge for 15–30 minutes before serving.
